My Prints

The Printing Process

To ensure quality control, all prints are produced in-house and great care is taken with each print.

The Image You Purchase

Currently, I only sell prints printed on archival matt paper without any kind of mounting or frame.

I aim to deliver a print to you that as closely as possible reflects the image you see onscreen. The main image in the details page is the image that indicates what your print will look like. The image can be enlarged onscreen by left clicking on it once or, if desired, twice. When the image is larger than the screen, you can move around within it using your cursor.

However, there may be some differences between what you see on your screen and the print or prints that you receive when you order from me. These differences, for example, in apparent contrast, brightness or exposure, are due to differences between onscreen and printed media. Put simply, onscreen images are backlit and printed images are printed on white paper or other media - in my case, matt white paper. I work hard to keep such differences to a minimum but they are an inevitable part of the process.

Margins

To see how an image sits within each of the A4 or A3 print sizes, please visit the details page of the print you are interested in purchasing to see in each case a photograph of the printed image. You will see two photographs, one for A4 and one for A3. (You can click on an image below as an example.) These photographs are intended only to give an indication of relative margin sizes. They are not intended to give an accurate representation of the printed image itself (colour, contrast, brightness, etc.). The main image, which can be enlarged onscreen by left clicking on it once or twice, is for this purpose.

Delivery Within the UK

I currently ship prints by Royal Mail from Conwy, North Wales using their 48 Hour Tracked service. The cost of this (either large letter or small package price) is added  to the cost of the order as a separate item to the price of the print and packaging materials (all given in one price). All orders are shipped within 10 business days. of purchase and once shipped an email is sent out stating the details of the order and the tracking number. If for some reason shipping is likely to be delayed beyond 7 business days, I will email to explain the circumstances and offer to cancel the order and refund the amount paid if so desired.

Returns

Should the print received be unsatisfactory for any reason, customers can notify me of their desire to return it by message using the contact form on this website or by email at info@wonkygatefineartphotography.com for a full refund excluding the cost of return postage and packing. The refund will be made upon my receiving the returned print.

Should the print be damaged or otherwise different from that ordered please notify me as above, In this case, I will also cover the return postage cost once this cost has been evidenced (please ask the post office for a receipt and let me have a photo or photocopy of it) and upon my receiving the returned print.

In all cases, please notify me of any issue within 14 days of receiving the print and please state as precisely as possible what is wrong with the print when you contact me about it.

Unless agreed otherwise, prints must be returned using the same method by which they were sent, for example, Royal Mail Tracked Large Letter, and, except in extraordinary circumstances, in the packaging in which they arrived.

International Orders

I currently ship only within the United Kingdom. I intend to accept international orders shortly.
