Prints
The Printing Process
To ensure quality control, all prints are produced in-house and great care is taken with each print.
I currently only sell prints in A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches; 210 x 297 mm) and A3 (11.69 x 16.54 inches; 297 x 420 mm) paper sizes.
I currently also only sell prints printed on archival matt paper without any kind of mounting or frame.
The Image You Purchase
I aim to deliver a print to you that as closely as possible reflects the image you see onscreen.
As described in detail in the Print Borders page of this website, images are printed on A4 and A3 size paper with white borders around the image.
The image in the specific print page indicates what your print will look like (but without the Wonky Gate copyright notice). The image can be enlarged onscreen by left clicking on it once or, if desired, twice. If the image is larger than the top and bottom borders of your screen, you can use left click and hold to move within the image.
However, there may be some differences between what you see on your screen and the print or prints that you receive when you order from me. These differences, for example, in apparent contrast, brightness or exposure, are due to differences between onscreen and printed media. Put simply, onscreen images are backlit and printed images are printed on white paper or other media - in my case, matt white paper. I work hard to keep such differences to a minimum but they are an inevitable part of the process.
Please also be aware that the colour of an image when viewed on a smartphone may appear more saturated than the same image viewed on a laptop or desktop screen and therefore more saturated than the print version of the image.

Delivery Within the UK and International Orders
I currently ship prints by Royal Mail from Conwy, North Wales using their Tracked 48 (hour) service within the UK and their International Tracked and Signed service outside of the UK. The cost of postage/shipping (either Large Letter or Small Package price) is added to the cost of the order as a separate item to the price of the print and packaging materials (all given in one price).
For further information on this, please visit the Postage and Packing page of this website.
Tariffs and/or Sales Tax on International Orders
Customers ordering for destinations outside the UK are solely responsible for paying any tariff or sales tax charged in the destination country on any products or any elements of products purchased on this site. This is likely to be an additional cost to the price charged for the product on this site.
Returns
Should the print received be unsatisfactory for any reason, customers can notify me of their desire to return it by message using the contact form on this website or by email at info@wonkygatefineartphotography.com within 14 days of receipt for a full refund excluding the cost of return postage and packing. The refund will be made upon my receiving the returned print.
Should the print be damaged or otherwise different from that ordered please notify me as above, In this case, I will also cover the return postage cost once this cost has been evidenced (please ask the post office for a receipt and let me have a photo or photocopy of it) and upon my receiving the returned print.
In all cases, please notify me of any issue within 14 days of receiving the print and please state as precisely as possible what is wrong with the print when you contact me about it.
Unless agreed otherwise, prints must be returned using the same method by which they were sent, for example, Royal Mail Tracked Large Letter, and, except in extraordinary circumstances, in the packaging in which they arrived but with my return name and address replacing those of the customer.
