Postage and Packing

This page is currently under development

United Kingdom and Worldwide

I now post/ship prints to destinations both within and outside the United Kingdom.

Method of Posting Prints to the Customer

I currently post/ship prints by Royal Mail from Conwy, North Wales using their Tracked 48 (hour) service within the UK and their International Tracked and Signed service outside of the UK.

Cost of Posting

The cost of postage/shipping is either Royal Mail Large Letter price (for A4 prints) or Royal Mail Small Package price (for A3 prints), and it is added to the cost of the order as a separate and additional item to the price of the print and packaging materials, which are together included in the print price.

The price I charge for postage/shipping in the UK is the cost to me or possibly, in the case of orders of multiple prints, less than the cost to me.

The price I charge for postage/shipping to customers outside of the UK may vary (either up or down) from the actual cost to me by a small amount as I am "averaging out" international postage costs to some degree in order to keep the purchasing process as simple as possible.

Period from Order to Posting

I intend to post/ship each order within 10 business days of purchase and in most cases quite early in this period.

If for some reason shipping is likely to be delayed beyond 10 business days, I will email to explain the circumstances and offer to cancel the order and refund the amount paid if so desired.

Choosing the Correct Postage Price

When you purchase an A4 or A3 print, the correct method of postage/shipping is automatically selected - at this time this is either Royal Mail Large Letter or Royal Mail Small Parcel. If you choose two A4 prints Large Letter prices will be selected regardless of the fact that you have chosen two prints. The same applies to Small Parcel prices whether you select one, two or three (etc.) A3 prints.

After you have decided on your order, you must then choose the correct description of your location from the drop down menus that appear on the Cart page.

First, indicate the country to which your order is to be delivered from the drop down menu (for example. "United Kingdom", "United States" etc.). Then use the second drop down menu (to the right of the first one) in order to select the best description of your location from the two or three options given, such as "Europe" or "Outside Europe and the USA".

        An example

As an example, here is the process 0f ordering a combination of A4 and A3 prints to be delivered to a destination within the UK.

Add the prints that you want to the cart from the relevant product pages. When you have selected the prints then select "Go to cart" from the pop-up menu that appears after clicking "Add to cart" or go to the cart by left clicking on the cart icon in the pages menu at the top of the screen.

Under the list of items you have selected, you will see the words "estimated shipping cost" and also two drop down menus, one directly below those words. In the first list (directly below) select "United Kingdom" as the destination location. ("United Kingdom" is at the top of the drop down list.) Having done this, click on the second drop down menu. From the short list of choices that then appear select the most appropriate description of your location. In the case of an A3 print (or prints) to be delivered within the UK, select "Royal Mail Small Parcel 48 hour Tracked - United Kingdom (£4.05)" This will then be added to the items and amounts columns and to the total price of the order.

Tariffs and/or Sales Tax on International Orders

Customers ordering for destinations outside the UK are solely responsible for paying any tariff or sales tax charged in the destination country on any products or any elements of products purchased on this site. This is likely to be an additional cost to the price charged for the product on this site.
